Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Business, is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as the First Line Supply Planning Manager (Level K) to join our team in Hialeah, FL.
As the first point of contact for our supply planning execution team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain processes. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of asset managers across multiple locations to ensure timely and accurate conversion of demand signals into purchase requisitions.
  • Develop and implement supply chain planning and execution strategies to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain issues and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to drive operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
  • Create and maintain supply chain planning policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand and plan inventory levels to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supply chain planning and forecasting practices to continuously improve processes.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure continuous development and growth within the supply chain planning and forecasting function.
  • Communicate supply chain planning updates and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Handle any escalations or issues related to supply chain planning execution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the supply chain planning and forecasting function.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or format manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning Processes
  • Experience in Demand Planning/Forecasting Methodology
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Exposure to data management concepts and tools
  • Experience with aggregating and summarizing large amounts of historical data and identifying trends or problems

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree - Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field of study
  • Experience with SPM (Service Parts Management)
  • Previous experience in planning and collaborating with companies managing a high number of SKUs
  • Strong presentation skills, communication skills (written/oral). Experience with SAP or ERP systems
  • This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $95,000 - $135,000
