Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business, is looking for a dynamic First Line Quality Engineering Manager to join our team in Hialeah, FL.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop teams responsible for:
- QMS compliance & certification
- QA Support (tooling control and nonconforming material)
- Execute and sustain QMS in alignment with AS9100, FAA, and company requirements
- Lead internal surveillance audits and ensure closure of corrective/preventive actions
- Oversee nonconforming material management, including containment and resolution
- Ensure effective quality notification triage and closure
- Support configuration management processes to ensure product integrity and traceability
- Drive process improvement initiatives based on audit findings and performance data
- Establish and monitor quality metrics; provide reporting to senior leadership
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and engineering

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or format manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- 5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated industry
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field
- Experience with QMS (e.g., AS9100), audits, and corrective/preventive actions
- 3+ years' experience managing nonconforming material and quality notifications
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
