As a Senior Product Associate within the Consumer Banking Firmwide FDIC Deposits Platform team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact. Supported by user research and customer feedback, you will fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including Engineering and Quality Assurance — and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and their ongoing success. Job responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that deliver value to customers
  • Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Lead data-driven analysis to support product priorities, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions
  • Translate business and regulatory needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and testable requirements
  • Partner daily with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to clarify scope, support refinement, and resolve delivery questions
  • Maintain and manage the product backlog, including story creation, prioritization support, status tracking, and defect linkage
  • Support Agile ceremonies — including refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives — to ensure smooth execution from intake to delivery

 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years experience in Data query & analysis, including product engineering concepts
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, including discovery and requirements definition
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data, validate outcomes, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience writing Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and working directly with engineering and testing teams in a delivery environment
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (such as Jira) in an Agile delivery environment
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy to support product decision-making

 

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of FDIC, banking, deposits, or financial services domain, including familiarity with regulatory-driven delivery environments
  • Experience supporting data integration work or products with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with journey mapping tools and techniques to support customer-centric product development
  • Experience working within large, matrixed organizations with cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Banking and deposits domain knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with regulatory-driven delivery and/or data integration work (preferred).
