We are seeking a Vice President to join the Firmwide Compensation team in a high-impact role supporting compensation planning, executive decision-making, and strategic outcomes across multiple lines of business.
As a Vice President within Human Resources, you will bring strong analytical rigor, sound business judgment, technical proficiency, and proven stakeholder management skills. You will have a demonstrated interest in simplifying and improving processes, driving innovation, and advancing the firm’s broader compensation philosophy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage firmwide compensation planning deliverables, including incentive compensation forecasting, year-end planning, financial outlook inputs, and ad hoc executive requests
- Develop executive-ready analysis and communications that clearly explain compensation trends, drivers, risks, recommendations, and alignment to the firm’s compensation philosophy
- Influence and partner across HR, Compensation, Finance, and other key stakeholders to understand business needs, align priorities, and deliver consistent, scalable solutions
- Analyze compensation, headcount, financial, performance, market, and workforce data to support and advise on strategic compensation decisions, differentiation, and competitive pay practices
- Maintain strong project management discipline by managing multiple deliverables and timelines while coordinating across stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to risk, control, regulatory, and policy requirements when working with sensitive workforce and compensation data
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 6 years of relevant experience in Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, or a related function requiring quantitative analysis, business judgment, and executive-level communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to create polished, executive-ready materials and communicate the story behind the data
- Strong interpersonal, consulting, and partnership skills, with the ability to build credibility across HR, Compensation, Finance, and other key stakeholders
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and the ability to challenge the status quo while balancing practical execution, creativity, and innovation
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience working with financial planning, headcount, expense forecasting, or incentive compensation forecasting processes
- Familiarity with market data, executive compensation materials, compensation governance and controls, or related firmwide compensation processes
- Experience with reporting, AI-enabled tools, or workflow platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau, QuickSight, Business Objects, or similar tools to improve reporting, decision support, or process design
