- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of cloud spend and usage.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and business unit leaders to drive cost efficiency.
- Implement and manage cloud cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of FinOps professionals.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, innovations, and best practices in cloud financial management.
- Develop financial models to forecast cloud expenses.
- Establish and enforce financial governance policies.
- Partner with stakeholders to align cloud expenditure with business goals.

- Evaluate and implement FinOps tools and platforms for efficiency.

What skills do you need?
- BS/BA/BComm degree in Finance, Business Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Cloud FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent certification.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in a FinOps leadership role.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and public cloud services architecture.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to script in languages like R, SQL, Python, Scala, Java, or C++.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, especially with Pivot Tables and complex formulas.
- Proven track record in implementing FinOps practices in medium to large-scale organizations.
