What you’ll be doing

As a FinCrime Analyst, you’ll be a frontline defender within our FinCrime Operations department, ensuring the integrity and security of Satispay by conducting risk assessments, handling escalated cases, and enhancing our risk mitigation and compliance efforts. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments – Analyze customer, transaction, and third-party risks comprehensively to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

• Serve as the go-to expert for escalated cases – Act as the primary resource for addressing complex and high-risk situations with precision, providing expert guidance and effective solutions.

• Mitigate risks and provide guidance – Implement measures for new medium/high-risk customers and enhance KYC team skills to effectively mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Ensure compliance and share expertise – Maintain regulatory adherence, supervise KYC team activities, and stay updated on emerging FinCrime trends and technologies, sharing expertise to enhance overall compliance efforts.

Who we’re looking for

We need a problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset who thrives in a collaborative environment. If you’re detail-oriented and ready to take ownership in a dynamic setting, you’ll fit right in! Does this sound like you?

• Solid previous experience – 3+ years in a similar FinCrime role, preferably within a startup or financial sector, demonstrating proficiency in relevant tasks and responsibilities.

• Strong regulatory knowledge – A deep understanding of AML/CTF regulations and best practices, supported by strong analytical skills and proficiency in IT tools.

• Language and tools proficiency – Fluent in English, with knowledge of French or Italian considered advantageous; familiarity with OSINT tools is a plus.

• Positive attitude and passion – Customer-focused with an empathic and professional demeanor, exhibiting a positive can-do attitude and a passion for the payment industry.
