Position overview:
Green Genius is seeking a talented, motivated Financing & M&A Analyst to join our PF & Investments department. In this role, you’ll be part of our Project Finance and M&A teams – building robust financial models, conducting thorough analysis, and driving the execution of financing and M&A transactions. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at the forefront of the renewable energy industry.

As a Financing & M&A Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
- Financial modelling: develop and maintain complex financial models for renewable energy projects.
- Transaction support: assist in financing and M&A transactions by preparing financial documentation, supporting negotiations, and managing post-closing/utilisation processes.
- Due diligence: contribute by gathering, analysing, and presenting project-related information to financial partners and investors.
- Marketing processes: support the marketing of renewable energy projects by providing financial data and analysis for presentations, proposals, and investor/lender communications.
- Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate financial analysis into overall project and business strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field (candidates from other fields will be considered).
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Structuring financing transactions.
- M&A transactions and/or advisory.
- Asset management (real estate, renewable energy, credit/loan funds, or similar).
- Banking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with renewable energy projects is an advantage.

Monthly salary: From €2500-3600 gross. Final compensation is subject to mutual agreement. An additional variable remuneration component may be paid, depending on performance results.
