The Position
Together with the team, you will be responsible to:

  • prepare the annual report and quarterly announcements of the Novo Nordisk Group and maintain the high quality
  • take the lead on further automating the reporting process while maintaining accuracy and compliance
  • take part in ad hoc accounting projects, including providing accounting guidance on unusual business transactions, updating the Novo Nordisk Accounting Manual and preparing material for the Audit Committee as well as external auditors.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate:

  • demonstrates a genuine interest in digitalization and automation of the reporting process, with a must-have experience in Excel and an advantage in familiarity with Power BI
  • excels at challenging existing routines and rethinking how we take responsibility for a continued high quality in our external reporting
  • Bring a strong sense of responsibility for tasks and projects
  • Enjoy interacting with colleagues at all levels, but also not be afraid to lead the way
  • holds a Master' degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field, preferably with 3-6 years of experience


About the Team
You will be part of the External Reporting team, a group of specialists responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting to top management and external stakeholders. The team is part of a larger department that also handles the closing of consolidated financials, M&A Finance and integration, and external ESG reporting.
