Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall success of Ouro.
Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Close and Financial Reporting:
-
Manage the preparation and review of external reports, including the accumulation of supporting documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Complete the global consolidation process for a multinational company.

Assist in the build, implement and maintain a scalable intercompany and consolidation processes and procedures.

Partner closely with the Financial Operations and Tax teams and provide guidance on intercompany settlement and movement of intercompany funds.

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the consolidation process.

Audit and Compliance:

Work with auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Monitor accounting literature for new reporting requirements that may potentially impact the Company.

Research disclosure requirements related to technical accounting issues to ensure accuracy of accounting and completeness of disclosures

Technical Accounting:
-
Recognize and apply upcoming accounting standards in preparation for adoption.

Proactively identify and evaluate transactions, complex accounting judgments and financial results ensuring that US GAAP and company policy are appropriately followed and documented.

Review monthly accounting and recording of journal entries for corporate level areas (Software Capitalization, Lease Accounting, etc.)

Communication:

Partner and coordinate with various accounting personnel and departments to receive timely and accurate financial report information

Works cross functionally with Finance Operations, FP&A and external auditors.

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

5+ years of experience in accounting, with a mix of public and industry experience.

Clear and demonstrated understanding of US-GAAP and SEC reporting with ability to apply and communicate knowledge.

Strong history of accounting research skills

Ability to interpret and apply new accounting guidance

Proficient in Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Excel.
