Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual with a strong tax background to join the team as the Financial Planning Manager. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with 2-5 years of experience who is looking to grow their career from an entry-level position into a leadership role over time. They are offering a flexible work environment with unlimited PTO, allowing for remote work or in-office presence as preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the financial advisory team to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients.
- Leverage your tax expertise to provide strategic advice and optimize clients’ financial situations.
- Assist with tax planning and preparation while gradually transitioning into a more advisory-focused role.
- Participate in client meetings, offering insights and building relationships to support their financial goals.
- Work closely with senior management to grow into the Director of Financial Planning role, with potential to pursue a CFP designation.
- Provide support for the firm’s internal financial processes, with minimal focus on business development.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or tax, with some client interaction.
- Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Strong desire to move beyond tax preparation and into a strategic advisory role.
- Ability to work independently, with flexibility to manage a hybrid work schedule.
- Local to the area, with availability to attend in-office meetings and client appointments as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
- Driven to develop into a Director of Financial Planning
Compensation
- $90,000-110,000 base salary with bonus opportunities. (Total compensation: $130,000-150,000)
