Job Title:

Financial Planning & Analyst Controller

Job Description

In this position, you will report to the Manager Control and you will be an active sparring partner for the various customer teams. Each customer team is responsible for their own designated customer. As an FP&A Controller, you will have 10-15 customer teams under you, in which you will play a key role in terms of financial management. Your primary responsibility is to support the customer teams in optimizing the result. This will consist of periodically monitoring the results and identifying, initiating and developing improvement initiatives. In addition, you will help the teams in the field of cost control. You are also partly responsible for the periodic (monthly) closings.
Furthermore, you are jointly responsible for the budget and monthly forecast for the designated customer teams. You must also be able to translate the financial results into understandable storylines and concrete actions. Other topics where you are a pivot in the organization are, for example, developments in the labor market (temporary employment, collective labor agreements, contract forms) and productivity/billability of the teams (absenteeism, turnover). Again, the results are largely driven by optimising the various sub-topics. Using strong data analyses, you convince the customer teams and steer them in the right direction.
Finally, there are a number of projects that are planned, including the implementation of a management reporting tool, (international) harmonization of the data model and integration of business units. As part of the international Finance community, you will frequently coordinate with Group Finance on various topics such as IFRS developments, planning of the FP&A cycle, tooling and international projects
