This position is based onsite at our Los Angeles, CA location. Candidates must be able to work in-office as part of the role’s regular schedule.

A Day in the Life

The Financial Planning & Analysis Associate will support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across key business initiatives. This role serves as a critical partner to business stakeholders, helping translate data into insights that drive performance and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support monthly forecast updates and annual budget process

  • Perform variance analysis across revenue, expenses, and operational KPIs

  •  Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to analyze:

    • CAC and marketing channel performance

    • Loan pricing and approval/exception trends

    • Sales commissions and productivity metrics

  • Assist in building and maintaining components of the operating model

  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and board/investor materials

  • Develop KPI tracking and reporting frameworks

  • Conduct ad hoc analyses on business performance, cost optimization, and growth initiatives

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise

  • 3–4 years of experience in FP&A, advisory/consulting, investment banking, or related fields

  • Strong Excel/modeling skills and analytical mindset

  • Experience working with large datasets and synthesizing insights

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, lending, banking or startup environments

  • Familiarity with BI tools or SQL

  • Exposure to unit economics and growth metrics

Compensation Range

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,700 - $117,200 annually.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and state of residence.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the interview process.

Physical Requirements

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder.  Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
