Responsibilities
- International advice experience in providing regulated financial advice to UK domiciled clients repatriated from overseas is essential.
- A focus on new business development
- A working knowledge and experience of servicing clients with QROPS, QNUPS and RNUKS
- Ability and/or desire to lead the Repat team, setting direction as appropriate.
- Providing holistic financial planning solution to private clients with assets more than £160k across the full suite of financial planning solutions.
- Achieving revenue targets set by line management.
- Achieve new business targets set by line management.
- Proactively drive for cross selling and referring business into other parts of the group.
- Maintain & nurture existing client relationships, identifying and fulfilling new advice needs where appropriate.
- Generate new client enquiries and generate advice income from these.
- Undertake sales and marketing activity in line with local/regional/ national plans.
- Work to achieve or exceed annual new business revenue target.
- Provide expert independent advice to designated clients in compliance with relevant regulations and Titan policies and values.
- Maintenance of ‘Fit and Proper’ status through continuous professional development, suitable development opportunities and maintenance of SPS.
- Evidence and maintain knowledge of company policies, processes and guidance.
- Ensure that client advice and reports are compliant with company processes and regulatory requirements.
- Use standard template documentation approved by the company.
- Ensure technical knowledge and general industry knowledge is always maintained.
- Delivery of a positive client service experience to ensure appropriate client outcomes, client journey and client communication.
- Speed of response/turnaround time in accordance with service standards set out in procedures and clients kept appropriately appraised.
- Processes are executed in compliance with all regulations, as evidenced by file checks, observations, and client feedback.
- To establish relationships with other business groups in Titan to achieve reciprocal business.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with external professional connections (ensuring appropriate agreements in place) to develop additional business opportunities.
- Use objectives to focus on key business areas.
- Ensure reading and product knowledge is always up to date to maintain and develop quality of reports and research.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required, always bearing in mind TCF and the needs of the business.
Requirements
- Technical competence across all areas of financial planning.
- Analytical mind and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to coach and provide feedback.
- Experience as a Financial Planner
- Experience in a Paraplanning role (preferable but not essential).
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel and Databases.
- Cash Flow Modelling (preferable but not essential).
- Essential - Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) ·
- Desirable - Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning/Chartered Financial Planner or willingness to progress to this.
- SPS & CAS holder.
