As Financial Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis of the Service Financial Data in our Customer Service group. You will also be working closely with other relevant teams/stakeholders to support the forecasting/budgeting activities and investigating discrepancies in financial results or trends.
What you will be doing
- Analysis of financial data and preparing monthly financial reports (relatable to service costs) – extracting and defining relevant information
- Support and co-ordinate with various stakeholders to prepare data/report for service repair cost forecasting/budgeting activities on a timely basis
- Make use of data analytics tools to revamp the current process to meet accuracy
- Review current service repair cost forecast logic/process and make improvement suggestions
- Engage relevant stakeholders for variance analysis including identifying gaps, reviewing and investigating irregular financial results or trends
- Participate/support projects under strict timelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you should have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Statistics / Mathematics / Accounting / Finance / Computing or any related field
- 2-5 years’ work experience with statistical analysis and trend forecasting, preferably in customer service field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
What will help you succeed
- Knowledge/experience in Microsoft Excel macros and coding, Forecasting/ Planning tool, Anaplan skill is preferred
- Analytical mindset and strong business acumen.
- Possess a demonstrated sense of urgency with the ability to perform well under pressure
- Able to create and present good presentation content for peers and management
- Possess good communication and influencing skills interacting with different stakeholders
- Pro-active team player who is able to perform tasks that requires meticulous attention to detail
