As a Project Manager - Associate within Financial Crime Transformation team, you will plan and deliver cross-functional regulatory change programs that strengthen our Know Your Customer (KYC) and financial crime controls. You will partner with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and business teams to coordinate workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and keep delivery on track. You will run day-to-day program governance and provide clear, decision-ready reporting for senior forums. You will help ensure change is implemented in a controlled, policy-driven environment while balancing regulatory expectations and business outcomes.

Our team focuses on turning regulatory expectations into practical, scalable change across KYC governance, policy, and transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary partners to improve processes, controls, and delivery discipline across the end-to-end KYC lifecycle.

Job responsibilities

  • Support defining program scope, objectives, plans, and deliverables in partnership with program leadership
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Compliance, Technology, Operations, and business teams to enable smooth execution
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) items; escalate with options and recommendations
  • Run governance routines by managing meeting cadence, agendas, minutes, action tracking, and decision documentation
  • Produce accurate status reporting for senior stakeholders, including progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risks
  • Maintain delivery plans, support resourcing and timeline management, and assist with budget tracking where applicable
  • Partner with workstream contributors to align priorities, remove blockers, and drive timely delivery outcomes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years of experience in banking industry with experience in financial crime, Know Your Customer (KYC), or regulatory change initiatives
  • Demonstrated project management experience delivering cross-functional initiatives with multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Working knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) and KYC regulatory expectations and comfort operating in a controlled, policy-driven environment
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating clear documentation and concise senior-level updates
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to balancing risk and business objectives
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through across planning, reporting, and action management

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working within a First Line of Defense operating model and/or in a KYC organization
  • Familiarity with enterprise change delivery frameworks, governance practices, and control expectations in large organizations
  • Experience supporting process improvement or transformation initiatives across policy, operations, and technology
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including identifying and supporting practical artificial intelligence-enabled transformation opportunities
