Bennion Lambourne Orthodontics in Billings, MT is looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking financial coordinator to join a growing practice! Find your career with us! 

Bringing resumes into our office, 152 S 32nd St W, Suite A, Billings, MT 59102, is encouraged. 

This position is full-time (about 40 hours), Monday through Friday, with general hours of need being from 7 am to 5 pm.  

Benefits: 401K, PTO, Health, Dental, Vision Insurance available, as well as other options. 

Performance Expectations - Essential Functions: 

  • Provides continual and exceptional customer service for all patients, making the patient the first priority. 
  • Utilizes all downtime. 
  • Follows the training compact and takes responsibility for his or her training. 
  • Verifies insurance benefits. 
  • Bills insurance properly. 
  • Monitors patient contract receivables, including insurance payments, to maximize collection. 
  • Performs delinquent account collection guidelines. 
  • Runs and tracks all financial reports. 
  • Works hard to achieve goals for the office. 
  • Continues to learn about office policies, procedures, and flow. 
  • Assists in phone coverage, greeting patients, and scheduling patients. 
  • Reviews company email and communication board each shift for updates. 
  • Follows the team member guidelines. 
  • Maintains patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance. 
  • Good computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new programs as required. 

The Success Patterns for this position are: 

  • One to three years experience with medical or dental insurance billing. 
  • One to three years experience in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting. 
  • Has a reputation for excellent relations with patients and all office staff. 
  • Has worked effectively as part of a team. 
  • Ability to improvise in a busy work environment.

Requirements

Physical demands: 

  • Bending, stooping, walking, and sitting for long periods at a time. 
  • Great manual dexterity and typing skills. 
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 30 lbs. 

Education/Certification:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent  
  • Experience with medical or dental insurance billing 
  • Orthodontic experience preferred, but not required 
  • Experience in a professional setting with direct patient interaction preferred
