The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:
Job Description:
  • Support month-end closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and given scorecards,
  • Conduct balance sheet and account reconciliation reviews and prepare Month End Compliance Reports,
  • Prepare monthly financial binders and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation,
  • Prepare weekly flash reports to provide early insights on financial performance,
  • Collect, prepare, and interpret financial information for local management; support preparation of budgets, actuals, and forecasts,
  • Responsible for standard costing and variance analysis for actual costs via material ledger closings,
  • Validate and monitor all accruals on a monthly basis,
  • Prepare cost center monthly reports and control monthly costs,
  • Review and verify monthly sales reconciliations,
  • Manage CMF (Capital Management Forms) preparation, submission, and yearly audit reporting,
  • Monitor working capital by keeping AR days, AP days, Capex, inventories, and liquidity indicators at optimal levels,
  • Maintain and update lease commitment schedules in line with IFRS and company policies,
  • Prepare clear and insightful financial presentations for management meetings,
  • Monitor and report cost reduction projects and KPIs, ensuring alignment with financial targets,
  • Interact with external and internal auditors; follow up on audit findings and implement corrective actions,
  • Drive standardization and improvement of key business processes through simplification, automation, and control enhancements,
  • Participate in SAP development and improvement projects, ensuring finance requirements are integrated.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or Engineering from a reputable university; a Master's degree is an additional asset,
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, cost management, and accounting, preferably within the automotive industry,
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP,
  • Good command of verbal and written English,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; result-oriented with a business partner mindset,
  • Ability to learn quickly and a proactive get things done attitude,
  • Audit experience is an asset.
