Mission: To support the company in moving toward its mission and goals by executing financial and accounting operations, while providing analysis/reporting and safeguarding company assets, ensuring compliance with local laws and relevant regulations.

What You'll Do

• Manage and carry out the day-to-day financial operations for Sky overseeing the accounting function related to internal administrative activities.
• Deliver key financial outputs, including risk-mitigation work and opportunity forecasting.
• Produce accurate financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support informed decision-making.
• Perform analysis and monitoring of Sky Portugal costs (business areas, cost centres, and other relevant categories).
• Provide executives with financial information and analysis that supports progress towards the company’s mission and goals.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, tax requirements, and relevant industry and financial regulations.
• Maintain and monitor company policies and internal controls—particularly around expenditure—to safeguard assets and minimise the risk of fraud.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation and support the development of efficient local accounting processes in a fast-growing environment.
• Liaise with the Finance team in the UK.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, accountants, and legal advisers.

What You'll Bring

• Education (BSc, Master or MBA) in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Previous experience working in Corporate Finance in international environments;
• You will be able to hit the ground running and operate confidently with minimal guidance.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS);
• Ability to multi-task and change priorities accordingly to the business needs;
• Presentation and influence skills;
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented attitude;
• C2 English Level
