Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including day-to-day accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and supporting strategic financial initiatives such as potential acquisitions. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA designation, over 10 years of progressive accounting experience, and a strong command of ERP systems—particularly Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Prepare internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.

• Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial controls and accounting policies and procedures.

• Serve as a financial partner to senior management, providing financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives including M&A activity and due diligence processes.

• Manage ERP systems with expert knowledge of Workday and provide oversight on related process improvement initiatives.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams across operations and manufacturing to optimize financial performance and reporting.

• Utilize experience with Odoo or other manufacturing systems to align operational and financial data.

• Drive continuous process improvements in finance operations to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.

Required Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry roles.

• Proven track record in financial leadership roles with increasing responsibility.

• Deep expertise in ERP systems, particularly Workday a plus.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations; experience with Odoo a strong advantage.

• Hands-on experience managing audits, monthly/quarterly closes, and financial reporting.

• Experience in financial due diligence and M&A support.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both public accounting and private industry.

• Background in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
