As the cornerstone of our financial universe, you'll orchestrate everything from financial reporting and tax compliance to treasury management and system upgrades including leading our ERP revolution. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to our senior leadership, delivering sharp insights that drive our growth and operational excellence.
The Role You Could Play:
This isn’t your typical finance gig. We're looking for someone confident, curious and agile; who can champion innovation, foster collaboration, and keep us ahead of the curve. AS our new Financial Controller you will:
ERP Implementation & Transformation
- Lead our enterprise-wide ERP rollout, ensuring seamless integration across finance, procurement, inventory, and more
- Drive change management strategies, helping teams embrace new systems with enthusiasm
- Maintain meticulous focus on data accuracy, system testing, and risk mitigation
Financial Reporting & Business Insights
- Achieve industry-leading month-end close timelines (hello, 3-4 days!)
- Provide strategic analysis that inform explosive growth and optimize our balance sheet
- Deliver compelling reports that blend technical rigor with strategic storytelling
Inventory, Working Capital & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with merchandising and planning teams to keep our inventory game sharp
- Innovate in accounts payable and payment processes, boosting efficiency and savings
- Negotiate favorable vendor terms that benefit both parties
Tax, Treasury & Risk
- Develop tax strategies that keep us compliant and competitive
- Manage the relationship and external audit processe, ensuring smooth collaboration with auditors, providing necessary document and addressing audit findings.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and hedging strategies like a financial ninja
- Evaluate investment opportunities to fuel our ambitious expansion
Leadership & Culture
- Build and nurture a high-performing, agile finance team
- Lead leaders across financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury management, payroll operations and accounts payable.
- Champion continuous learning, career growth, and engagement
- Collaborate cross-functionally, becoming the ultimate business partner
What You Will Bring:
You’ve got a minimum of 10 years finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior FC or similar role and have worked in retail or fast-paced consumer environments. CPA or CA qualification required, an MBA or Master’s? Even better!
You’re an ERP aficionado, ideally SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, with real-world implementation experience. Your financial modeling skills are second to none, and you’re comfortable translating complex data into strategic insights.
