Financial Controller - UK
Leeds / Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office (LS15 8ZB)
About the role:
Are you ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment? SharkNinja is on the lookout for a talented Financial Controller to join our UK team. If you have a passion for excellence and a drive to deliver top-notch financial control improvements, we want to hear from you!
- SOX Control Improvements: Lead the charge in enhancing and maintaining our SOX control environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with sales teams and Managing Directors to provide insight and advice relating to contracts
- Month-End P&L review: Review and present month-end accounts with precision and clarity for the UK entities
- Balance Sheet Reporting: Drive improvements and ensure accuracy in balance sheet reporting for the 2 UK entities
- Audit Support: Provide robust support for the external reporting function during audits.
- Financial Statements & Tax Compliance: Review financial statements and support the external reporting team in tax compliance and other external filings.
- Project work: Be the go-to finance specialist for a variety of cross functional projects to support the future growth of the SharkNinja brand across the EMEA region
Experience we're looking for:
- Qualified accountant with proven experience in financial control and SOX compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
