Financial Controller

ABOUT THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:

WIN is a leading proptech company, and we’re expanding our finance team! We’re looking for a for a Financial Controller will oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This leadership role requires hands-on involvement in managing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
2. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
3. Ensure timely cash collection, Accounts Receivables reporting, and proactive measures to reduce uncollectible receivables.
4. Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning with company objectives.
5. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
6. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
7. Coordinate and manage tax filings and external audits, maintaining strong relationships with auditors and advisors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
2. 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
3. Must have led and successfully completed at least three end-to-end financial audit cycles, including preparation, coordination with auditors, and post-audit compliance
4. Proven expertise in U.S. GAAP and U.S. accounting practices, including financial reporting and compliance.
5. Experience managing financial audits and working with US auditors.
6. Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
7. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
