We are looking for a highly accomplished Financial Controller to lead our financial operations. In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of financial management, including reporting, budgeting, and compliance, serving as a vital contributor to the formulation and execution of the company's financial strategy. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to driving financial integrity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Direct the daily operations of accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate external audits and prepare all necessary regulatory filings and reports.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to align financial goals.
- Present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders to inform business strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiencies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support business initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA are preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with SaaS business models is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
