About the Role

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing company specializing in the design, production, and installation of data center infrastructure.

As the company scales its large, capital-intensive projects, we are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to own financial control, treasury, and contract governance across the business.

This role is critical in an environment where long-cycle customer contracts, supplier payment terms, milestone billing, revenue recognition, and significant working capital swings directly impact the company's cash position.

You'll work closely with Project, Operations, Procurement, Sales, Commercial, and Senior Leadership teams, providing financial visibility across projects while ensuring strong controls, accurate reporting, and healthy liquidity.

Your Responsibilities
  • Own financial oversight of complex customer, supplier, and subcontractor contracts, including milestones, payment terms, change orders, retentions, and cost-to-complete.

  • Manage long-term contract revenue recognition under ASC 606 / IFRS 15, including percentage-of-completion / input methods, contract assets, liabilities, and unbilled revenue.

  • Monitor project profitability and financial risk, including cost overruns, margin erosion, schedule delays, and cash-at-risk.

  • Own key financial controls, monthly close, management reporting, and audit coordination.

  • Lead day-to-day and forward-looking cash flow management, including rolling weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.

  • Monitor and optimize working capital, including customer receivables, supplier terms, inventory, and project-related cash requirements.

  • Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, project finance, and asset-backed lending where applicable.

  • Monitor FX exposure across international equipment, materials, and contracts.

  • Partner with Sales, Procurement, and Project teams on commercial terms, payment structures, guarantees, and financial risk before contracts are signed.

  • Provide Senior Leadership with clear visibility into liquidity, funding requirements, project profitability, and overall financial performance.

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in financial controlling or a similar finance role.

  • Experience in EPC, infrastructure, construction, equipment manufacturing, data centers, or other project-based businesses.

  • Strong experience with financial and management reporting under GAAP and/or IFRS.

  • Advanced knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and long-term contract revenue recognition.

  • Demonstrated experience in treasury, cash flow management, and working capital within a project-based or capital-intensive business.

  • Experience reviewing complex customer, supplier, and subcontractor contracts from a financial perspective.

  • Strong understanding of project profitability, cost-to-complete, and financial risk.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, Legal, Project, Operations, and Senior Leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.

  • Previous Big 4 accounting or audit experience.

  • Experience with data center infrastructure, EPC, construction, manufacturing, or large-scale equipment projects.

  • Experience with project finance, credit facilities, or asset-backed lending.

  • Experience managing multi-currency operations and FX exposure.

  • Experience with ASC 842 / IFRS 16.

  • Experience building financial controls and processes in a high-growth organization.

Why Join Us

You will take on a key finance role within a fast-growing data center infrastructure company, with direct influence over the financial performance and liquidity of large-scale projects.

This role offers high ownership and cross-functional exposure, working closely with commercial, operational, and leadership teams on projects where financial control and cash management are critical to success.

You'll have the opportunity to help build and scale robust finance processes while working at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and the rapidly growing data center industry.
