Job Title: Financial Controller
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller with a solid accounting background to support our finance team. The role involves planning, cost tracking, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic business plans;
- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide insightful commentary and analysis;
- Track and analyze cost development across cost centers, comparing actual figures with planned budgets;
- Collaborate closely with budget holders to ensure precise reporting and cost allocations;
- Deliver monthly cost and expenditure reports to project managers, providing detailed analysis as required;
- Assist the external accounting company in submitting all required documents and information on time for booking purposes;
- Collect accrual data and assist accountants with month-end closing processes;
- Review and verify supplier documentation for completeness and compliance with contractual agreements;
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain quality control over financial operations, including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition, IFRS compliance, and Fixed Assets;
- Compile and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to detect trends and forecast performance;
- Prepare reports for banking institutions and monitoring entities;
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial reporting tools, aligned with legal standards and management needs;
- Draft reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings;
- Contribute to the documentation and improvement of accounting policies and internal control procedures;
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements based on benchmarking and industry best practices;
- Assess financial and operational risks and recommend mitigating actions;
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and provide necessary documentation and support;
- Carry out ad-hoc data analysis and prepare reports and presentations as required by the CFO.
- Substitute colleagues in the accounting department when needed, performing various daily operational tasks such as bank payments, bookings, and issuing invoices.

Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent numerical abilities;
- At least 3 years of experience in Controlling or Audit roles;
- Solid understanding of IFRS standards (a plus);
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment;
- High level of responsibility, integrity, and independence;
- Results-driven and proactive approach;
- Proficiency in reporting tools (dashboards, trend reports, visual analytics, etc.);
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access);
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
