Financial Controller, Accounting, Controlling and Compliance, EMEA
Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join the Finance team in Copenhagen.
The role
Reporting to the Vice President of Accounting, Controlling and Compliance for EMEA, you will become part of a growing and developing team consisting of 7 financial professionals. You will drive and develop our finance setup for the investment vehicles, while having oversight and controlling of the day-to day accounting performed by third party service providers. In so doing, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing and delivering best-in-class finance processes for our investment vehicles.
Responsibilities will further consist of, but not limited to:
- Responsibility for P2P process, ensuring timely approval of invoices, payments and dealing with vendor queries.
- Controlling of accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, IC loans, etc.
- Ensuring timely submission of all tax filing, incl. VAT, CIT, WHT etc
- Oversee the audit process and ensure timely delivery of the required audit deliverables.
- Overseeing setup of new investment structures for the EMEA region
- Other Ad hoc queries

You
The ideal candidate comes with 5+ years of experience in financial controlling or financial management, preferably in a project controlling environment.
Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual who is thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment.
We look for the following in a candidate:
- Good collaborative skills with great stakeholder management skills
- High ability to prioritize assignments and ensure short deadlines
- Thrives with responsibility and displays high attention to detail
- Motivated by building best practises and growing the finance function
- Knowledge of operational finance
- Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
