Opportunity 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated financial analyst who will be responsible for focusing on the company’s long-term financial strategy, with an emphasis on supporting the growth objectives over the next 1, 3, and 5 years. Reporting directly to the Strategic Planning Manager, this will be a critical role for the company’s strategy team and will work closely with the CEO and other executives on the financial planning aspect of the company’s overall strategic plan. This position will focus on providing the financial insights, models, forecasts, as well as reports and presentations needed to support the company’s growth, sustainability, and mission-driven initiatives. 

This role will require proactive financial strategy development, scenario planning, and performance monitoring, all while adjusting to shifts in market trends, new business opportunities, and evolving company needs. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complexity, make timely recommendations, and support executive leadership in executing financial plans that drive long-term success while maintaining alignment with the company’s values and mission. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop financial forecasting models that project future revenue streams, capital requirements, operating costs, and profitability. 

• Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic initiatives and key investments that align with the company’s long-term objectives, including expansion into new markets, and scaling. 

• Create detailed financial models to support long-term strategic decisions, including cash flow projections, ROI analysis, and capital allocation strategies. 

• Work with CFO and executive leadership to prepare and update financial projections for the 1, 3, and 5-year plans, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals. 

• Assess potential investment opportunities and develop detailed financial plans to evaluate feasibility and expected ROI. 

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations on strategic acquisitions, mergers, or joint ventures to accelerate growth or expand the company’s reach. 

• Support the Strategic Planning Manager in determining the optimal financing structure for large-scale projects and initiatives. 

• Analyze the financial viability of new market opportunities, including geographical expansion, product diversification, and digital platform investments. 

• Develop financial forecasts for new events, products, brands, and financial education programs, identifying revenue generation models, cost structures, and profitability projections. 

• Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress toward long-term financial goals and suggest corrective actions when necessary. 

• Identify areas for cost optimization and process improvements that can contribute to financial sustainability and growth. 

• Present financial strategies and projections to executive leadership, providing clear recommendations and insights for decision-making. 

• Develop reports and presentations to management and key leadership to be able to understand the information and make important decisions.

• Facilitate a cross-departmental planning process to establish financial projections and goals for new brands, products, and initiatives, ensuring input and alignment from key stakeholders to drive consensus and ownership. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field and/or equal job experience. 

• Proven experience in business planning and strategy development, building long-term financial models and growth strategies. 

• Strong knowledge of financial strategy in a rapidly growing organization. 

• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills. 

• Ability to develop great presentations to help leadership understand the information in a time effective manner and make key decisions.

• Strong understanding of financial metrics, ROI analysis, and long-term investment planning. 

• Experience with scenario planning and risk management strategies. 

• Ability to analyze complex data and present it in a clear and actionable manner for decision-makers. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
