This individual will support Affirma's mission to provide exception value to our clients through analytics and data storytelling, including working with stakeholders to visualize, analyze, interpret, and govern their data.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality and be comfortable with liaising with various business and legal teams, in addition to members of the Tax department
• The analyst provides a cross functional bridge between colleagues in Tax who are business-facing, and attorneys in Amazon Legal Procurement who negotiate contracts with counterparties of all sizes globally, the third party security reviews team, and the Accounting independence team.
• The Analyst will also be responsible for proposing process improvement opportunities, identifying redundancies and streamlining process with self driven automation, coordination with related tech team, or driving policy updates.
• Leverages technical solutions in order to scale the ever increasing and diversifying demands of our global business model.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 4+ years of tax, finance, legal/paralegal or a related analytical field experience
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax, finance, or procurement department
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Bachelor's degree required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $50-$55/HR
