Your place in our story
Reporting to the Division President, you will support the financial analysis of the full development lifecycle, from planning and servicing through construction, closings and the end of warranty, and you will be a trusted advisor to the functional teams making the decisions that shape our results.
Here’s how you’ll contribute
Build, maintain and defend community-level pro formas across planning, development and homebuilding, including revenue assumptions, product mix, absorption, hard and soft costs, servicing budgets, financing and equity flows.
Translate operating decisions into their impact on net income, balance sheet and cash flow, and explain trade-offs.
Run sensitivity and scenario analysis, identifying which levers move margin and which move timing.
Prepare advanced financial analysis and support for real estate decisions.
Ensure project pro forma information, forecasts and cash flow projections are accurate, with variance explanations.
Review monthly budget updates, surface risks and opportunities.
Support preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting and partner reports.
Support land development and construction teams in implementing cost and budget controls.
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and analysis through better technology use.
What you bring to the team

Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting; CPA, CFA or progress toward either is an asset.
5+ years in a similar analytical role, ideally in homebuilding, land development or residential real estate.
Strong financial and accounting foundation and advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of NewStar; familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
Strong analytical skills with clear, confident communication.
Hiring pay range rate: 75000 - 95000
