Overall Responsibility: As Finance Analyst, your responsibilities will include providing reports, analysis, and projections to the finance team. You will prepare accurate financial reports, manipulate and structure data, provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. You will perform Financial Planning & Analysis tasks related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner. You will provide reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning for the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Manage Business Intelligence and reporting activities included but not limited to:
- Sales and OPEX reporting
- Cash flow forecasting
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Database/ERP/Systems management
- Financial statement reporting and analysis
- Consolidation and intercompany accounting.
- Support with annual audits
- Support with tax, marketing and insurance requests
- Support of the monthly close process
- Analyze trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Identify causes of unexpected variances.
- Presentation of Profit & Loss (P&L) performance and forecasting
- Presentation of opportunities and risks.
- Working within Excel using formulas, PowerPivot or pivot tables, Lookup functions, etc.
- Utilization of Power BI
Qualifications
Needed Skills:
- Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Excel strong user-required), Power BI (preferred), Deltek Vision (preferred).
- Reporting and analysis.
- Auditing and accounting.
- Forecasting and budgeting.
- Ability to manipulate and structure data in presentable, replicable format.
- Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
Education/Experience Minimum: BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must have 3 - 10 years of experience in a finance role
