Job Description
- Perform month-end close booking activities
- Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare statutory Financial Statements and related analytical reviews
- Coordinate and address audit queries
- Communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders (FinOps, legal) in order to ensure timely and accurate bookings
- Providing quality support for internal and external financial reporting
- Collaboration with local accounting teams (Luxembourg, Hungary, etc.)
- Contribute to various internal accounting automation projects
- Actively participating in cross functional project launches from scoping through testing and launch
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with an emphasis on accounting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization
- University degree in business/economics/accounting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluent in business English
- Proficient Microsoft Excel user
- 3+ or more years of post-experience in Month end closing of books of accounts / working on various sub-ledgers / Accounting knowledge / Balance sheet reconciliation & Reporting activities
- Experience in end-to-end financial reporting processes, including strong understanding of statutory filings, internal controls audits and their related requirements
- Experience using MD365 (preferred)
- Solid organizational skills along with an aptitude for information technology
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized
- Ability to readily adapt to and lead through changing environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision making skills
