Diamond Foundry is looking for an experienced Finance and HR Director to support the VRAI organization. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a hyper-growth company focused on jewelry and retail. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire accounting function and play a crucial role in supporting HR activities. This is a high-visibility role where you will support the executive leadership initiatives and collaborate with the corporate DF teams. The role will require deep expertise in accounting, knowledge in HR, problem-solving skills, and a balance of high-level strategy and getting into the details.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and can effectively communicate with a diverse set of teams. This candidate will also have experience with building solid foundations within rapidly growing organizations and be able to flex between building process and operational work. Candidate should also be a team player, willing to assist wherever necessary across all teams.

Responsibilities: 

• Play a critical role in ensuring systems and processes run smoothly as we scale for VRAI.
• Lead and manage all aspects of the accounting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Participate in the budgeting process, which includes strategies for new business and growth opportunities.
• Manages HR programs and activities, including risk management, recruitment selection, job analysis, and compensation.
• Act as the first point of contact for VRAI personnel inquiries and complaints.

Requirements:

• 7+ years leading accounting teams, with HR management experience.
• Demonstrated success in team-building within startup environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA is a plus.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and D2C spaces.
• Proficient in analyzing and leading solutions for complex accounting scenarios, with ERP system proficiency, particularly in Netsuite and/or OneWorld.
