What You Will Do:

  • Support recurring reports, analyses and ad-hoc requests including, but not limited to:
  • Operations performance reviews
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Decision Analysis
  • Research to inform financial model assumptions
  • Research business trends across functions to highlight key changes to the operating business
  • Supporting financial model development and researching key inputs to inform business decisions
  • Developing and supporting production reports
  • Supporting development of material for the Senior Management Team or Board or Directors
  • High proficiency with systems relevant to functional area

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier program in one of the following areas: Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Accounting or Engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial planning or related role, preferably with experience in the gaming industry or with a digital business
  • Possess critical thinking skills, problem-solving ability and a desire to understand a broad range of operations within the Casino industry
  • Must be technically skilled and have experience using data analysis tools including MS Office products; must be able to quickly learn relevant industry database applications and software
  • Ability to provide analysis requiring a quick turnaround in order to allow management to react to changing dynamics rapidly

Essential Functions/Exposures

  • Must be able to sit, type, and talk on the phone for extended periods
  • Regular attendance in the office is required

In Arcuri's time at Caesars Sportsbook, he's helped turn a legacy sportsbook into something new, expanding the platform to markets across 12 states. Now, he's working on developing novel marketing strategies and user rewards. Building on that momentum, his team plans to roll out fresh features, improve reliability and construct a seamless user experience across brands, locations and products.
In Arcuri's time at Caesars Sportsbook, he's helped turn a legacy sportsbook into something new, expanding the platform to markets across 12 states. I was the second product person hired in the New Jersey office. Now have 15 product managers, four leads and a large development team. We’ve been able to keep a small startup culture, which allows for ownership and autonomy.

Choosing the right tech is important, considering Reed and her peers are focused on tackling critical challenges for the company’s operators and players. Driven by asynchronous collaboration and communication, her team abides by the belief that no one should stay in a designated lane. “Here, you can really put your, ‘Well, if I was in charge, I would…’ ideas to the test,” Reed said.

A flat organization that flourishes with support
As Riegelhaupt doubled his team, he wanted to keep the org flat while improving processes. By creating a new role, product operations leads, the team remains flat — but there’s extra support in streamlining workflows, hitting OKRs and developing the team’s skills. These “mini-chiefs of staff” allow techies to focus on building great products, all while remaining “one layer away from the chief product and tech officer.”
As Riegelhaupt doubled his team, he wanted to keep the org flat while improving processes. By creating a new role, product operations leads, the team remains flat — but there’s extra support in streamlining workflows, hitting OKRs and developing the team’s skills. Once I have a sense of where we need to make improvements, I start to develop process prototypes and work with those living in the details to figure out how we can make their work-life better. It’s about listening to the team and finding areas of opportunity.
