Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a detail oriented Senior Tax Consultant for a full-time role in our Las Vegas office supporting the provision, reporting, compliance, and audit of Aristocrat's tax obligations in the US and LATAM. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues across internal and external stakeholder and partner groups to manage day-to-day tax compliance as well as being an active participant in larger tax projects, or projects requiring tax input, as Aristocrat advances the design, develop, and build some of your very favorite digital games found in casinos throughout the world.
What you'll do
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain deferred tax inventory for IFRS and ASC740 reporting
• Prepare half year and annual tax provision
• Support continuous improvements in tax provision processes, including collaboration with other members of the business
• Prepare and assist with federal income tax compliance and reporting
• Prepare and maintain computation of book tax differences, supporting workpapers, account reconciliations and documentation
• Prepare tax accruals, budgets and forecasts
• Provide support for external financial statement audits and federal income tax audits, as applicable
• Other duties and special tax projects as assigned
• Support the Tax Team and the Aristocrat business with ad-hoc tax issues as they arise
• Work with the Tax Team to continuously improve processes and policies
• Liaise with our advisors and tax authorities in respect of tax matters

What we're looking for
Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in corporate tax provision, reporting, and compliance with "Big 4" or a national public accounting firm
• Demonstrable subject matter expertise in corporate, partnership and international taxation
• Significant and proven experience preparing tax provision calculations and a general understanding of tax accounting principles under ASC740, (IFRS a plus, but not required).
• Proven collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills at all levels within an organization

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• CPA certification is highly preferred
• Onesource experience including Onesource Tax Provision (OTP) and Onesource Income Tax (OIT) is highly preferred
• Experience in gaming, content distribution, Media & Entertainment, or retail industry is preferred
