Department OverviewMotorola Solutions is in an exciting phase of growth, rapidly innovating and transforming our traditional on-premise businesses to the Cloud. The Software Enterprise organization is a fast-paced organization at the front line of driving this transformation and growth throughout Motorola Solutions.
Our team is chartered to define and drive the implementation of our growth strategies across our Software Enterprise portfolio. We collaborate closely across all functions in the company, including Engineering, Product management, Sales, CTO, corporate strategy, ventures, and corporate development.
Job Description

In this role, you will use your pricing and portfolio management experiences to help define and drive pricing, monetization and transformation initiatives for our Software Enterprise. This role will have high visibility to Motorola’s senior leadership and give opportunities to collaborate across the entire business. Being a part of the cloud transformation journey makes this role unique and highly rewarding. Lead Pricing and Packaging projects for new MSI Software Enterprise products and services, as well as refine existing pricing models, maintaining a broad strategic view of the entire product catalog
Identify and help set the vision, prioritization, and roadmap for pricing initiatives that contribute to our strategic goals and revenue growth
Support the transformation from individually sold point products to tiered suite subscriptions
Understand the competitive landscape and Motorola Solutions’ competitive position to inform the portfolio pricing strategy
Assist in determining customer willingness to pay and price elasticity across the portfolio by executing qualitative/quantitative pricing research, conjoint/DCM studies
Develop data and fact-based product pricing models and metrics (e.g., product and customer dispersion analysis, waterfall analysis) and identify potential pricing risks/opportunities
Analyze and synthesize data to develop insights and present actionable recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and
senior leaders
Develop and maintain a robust set of metrics to evaluate and monitor the progress of the pricing strategy and support the continuous improvement of pricing operations and processes
Operationalize the pricing policy, including setting discounting guidance by market, customer, and product
Maintain and optimize new product introduction's release readiness process in collaboration with Portfolio, Product, Sales, and Finance
Preferred Skills:
Proven track record of implementing successful pricing and portfolio transformation initiatives
Experience pricing Software and SaaS and Software preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
5 years of experience in a corporate strategy, pricing, portfolio management or market research role
MBA or a degree in Finance preferred
Basic Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience or MBA degree
