Job Description
This role reports to the Senior Director of Finance & Strategy for the Customer & Partner organization, which includes Professional Services, C&P Excellence (including next generation customer success), Partners and Training.
This role is a critical partner to the C&P Excellence organization managing a full P&L globally while providing strategic insights and analysis to help enable ServiceNow’s next generation of customer success. The Senior Manager, Finance, Customer & Partner Excellence will serve as the primary finance leader to the SVP of C&P Excellence, sit on the C&P Excellence leadership team, and have responsibility for forecasting and managing both the topline and margin while serving as a strategic financial advisor to the business.
The successful candidate will combine a deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting and reporting with business and strategic acumen. The candidate will also have the ability to drive discussions with senior leaders and the capacity to drive initiatives across a large organization.
Responsibilities:
- Finance leader for C&P Excellence (including next generation customer success) and key member of the C&P Excellence leadership team
- Own financial planning, forecasting and reporting for the full P&L
- Lead topline forecast process with sales, delivery and global leadership
- Deliver clear communications to C&P Excellence leadership, including concise presentation of business results, financial drivers and strategic priorities
- Partner with the C&P Excellence organization to conduct analysis and develop strategic insights that drive business decisions
- Lead annual budget process and support QBRs and long term strategic planning
- Ensure all monthly and quarterly related reporting requirements and submissions to Global C&P Finance and Corp FP&A are met in a timely and accurate manner
- Support and influence cross functional teams at different management levels
- Drive business case development for commercial opportunities & gaps
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of related finance experience; FP&A experience required
- Proven record of exceptional performance at all professional and educational career stages
- Previous people management experience
- The capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business' needs and translate them into actionable solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with senior level stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- High energy and a desire to work in a result-oriented, dynamic fast growth environment
- Willingness and ability to work during periods with high workloads
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, corporate strategy or similar role in addition to FP&A is a plus
- Ability to influence through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis.
- Ability to recognize and employ appropriate interaction styles and methods to achieve the desired outcome
- Familiarity with enterprise planning systems
