About the team
The Technology and Services finance team supports the functionalization of the Technology and Services teams in Capital Markets from a finance function perspective. The Senior Financial Analyst will drive financial support for the team. The primary objectives of the team are to drive financial accuracy, scarce allocation of resources & increase business partnering. Strong team members will be key business partners with a niche skill set in finance.
What you will be doing

  • Works with the India FP&A team. Drives accelerated calendar with checklist & reviews to produce quality forecast at accelerated timelines
  • Supports baseline forecast, long range plan, & budget activities - Reviews overall output and ensures accuracy
  • Develop analysis to partner with business
  • Develops standardized labor and opex models to drive efficiency with offshore team
  • Develops standard reporting and analysis, including standard metrics for the T&S business teams (Tech/Services/BPO) as we work through the Capital Markets restructuring and functionalization.
  • Supports cost save tracking and reconciliation critical to the success of functionalization
  • Develop reporting through Alterx to automate and drive efficiencies across expense functions
  • Help coordinate purchase asset alignment with CIO and development


What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures and standards including US GAAP and IFRS/FRS
  • Proficient in Excel/Spreadsheets (SUMIF, Nested IF, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX, MATCH, LOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Advanced MS Office and Accounting Software skills
  • Articulate, able to effectively communicate complex concepts to a non-numerate audience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
