Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for all financial reporting, planning, and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting, and operational KPI reporting for deepwatch. Leveraging financial and operational data, you will work with senior leadership to define, track, and report on the key drivers of the business, as well as forecast future revenues, expenditures and cash flows.
Position Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Manage and maintain company financial model to generate updated, real-time income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections
- Liaise with senior management to develop departmental requirements, including expense and headcount requirements. aligned with expected growth
- Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Generate, analyze, and communicate monthly business results to key stakeholders of the company (board, executive team, department heads, etc.) through various reports
- Track actual performance against forecast and provide clear and concise variance analyses that describe metrics and other variance drivers
- Evolve the usage of Adaptive Planning into the primary financial hub for all company financial planning requirements
- Advance headcount modeling, tracking with the intent of advancing beyond current processes
- Other ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
Operational KPI Tracking & Reporting
- Work closely with management to define, develop, report, and analyze the key operational metrics driving business growth
- Influence business decisions with data-driven analysis and modeling
- Deliver insights into drivers across growth, costs and market trends
- Review and investigate the company's accounting transactions to ensure consistency between actual accounts and forecast
- Take the initiative to drive continuous process improvements to improve data quality and automate financial processes

Requirements
Required Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
- Understanding of subscription business models and key SaaS metrics
- Must be a strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
- Ability to interact with a variety of colleagues and senior management
- The ability to understand and interpret complex data to all necessary stakeholders
- Effective presentation skills to communicate financial data in the form of charts and reports
- Excellent time management and organizational ability to manage competing priorities
- 3-5 Years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting statistics, economics, business administration or related field
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- Adaptive Planning, Netsuite, Spreadsheet Guru and Strong Presentation preparation skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace
Colorado Candidates:
Minimum salary of seventy six thousand dollars + commissions + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
