SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Revenue Cycle Specialist will provide guidance, direction, and hands on assistance throughout all steps in the revenue billing cycle including meeting front end and back-end revenue collection objectives. This position will rely heavily on process improvement and meeting revenue cycle objectives.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and resolve revenue cycle issues by assisting each department in overcoming revenue cycle operation interruptions.
- Facilitate workflow processes throughout the revenue cycle to achieve efficiency and consistency in revenue cycle performance, optimize AR management and collections to achieve revenue cycle performance objectives and organizational strategic goals.
- Collaborate with input from other essential staff to establish revenue cycle metric goals and facilitate quality improvement for revenue cycle interruptions.
- Conduct tasks, facilitate communication, manage interactions with stakeholders, and gain support and agreement from involved parties on client revenue cycle operations.
- Create, maintain, and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience working in Human Services
- Three years related experience progressively responsible management experience in a revenue cycle position within a multi-specialty organization. Behavioral health experience preferred.
- Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills.
- Demonstrated experience with customer service and continuous quality improvement.
- Knowledge of all functional areas of Revenue Cycle within a healthcare setting.
- Strong research and auditing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and proactive manner.
- Denials Management, including reporting, accountability, and resolution.
- Highly effective collaboration skills, written and verbal communications skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
