About the Role
Dandy is hiring our first Pricing Strategy and Operations Associate to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company to launch and manage a Deal Desk to support all of our commercial functions. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Sales, Legal, Finance, Account Management, and Operations, acting as a strategic advisor to analyze price structures, manage the deal flow process, and foster sustainable growth while minimizing sales cycle times. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of a high-growth environment in a role that is critical to the business.
What You'll Do
- Manage all aspects of pricing structures and Deal Desk supporting sales in deal structuring, deal approval, and day-to-day deal management while focusing on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and market share based on business priorities
- Provide guidance to sales and post-sales functions on pricing, revenue, and contracts in the deal-making process
- Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoints, and enforcement of standard business practices and policies
- Effectively resolve and champion conflicts arising between customer needs and internal operational processes
- Represent operations, finance, and legal interests in the structuring of non-standard deals
- Analyze and report on package and pricing exceptions and effectiveness in support of optimization for long term goals including developing new pricing models and strategy
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years in pricing strategy, deal desk, or finance operations
- Strong analytical skills and experience with profitability analysis and pricing strategy
- Experience with Salesforce and financial modeling in Excel
- Clear business focus and proven track record in commercial negotiations
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; diligent with deliverables and deadlines, able to multitask
- Experience in contract management
- Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written
- Exceptional analytical skills along with the ability to demonstrate practical judgment in sophisticated situations
- Collaborative style with the ability to communicate clearly articulate on technical and operational issues
