Who You Are: If you are intrinsically motivated and capable of strengthening a company through pricing capabilities, this is an opportunity worth exploring. The newly established pricing team is responsible for the commercial structure, including pricing strategy, pricing and packaging models, deal structures, deal guidance, sales promotions.
The Pricing Manager will have direct responsibility to help shape how M-Files does business with customers and partners. You will develop relationships across the business to gain visibility to improvement opportunities related to the commercial structure and develop ideas to realize improvements. This role is one part building new capabilities, one part supporting Sales with challenging deals, one part data-driven insight development. In this new position, you'll lead, manage and support a variety of cross-functional projects that will bring ideas to life to impact the company and our customers in meaningful ways. You will both work on the business and work in the business. As an early hire on the team, you will initially have no direct reports, so it will be up to you to determine, rationalize, and plan which future hires need to be made to deliver outcomes needed.
The ideal candidate can connect the dots across internal and external stakeholder groups to originate value creating commercial concepts and work cross-functionally to bring those concepts to life within a global growth-stage organization. This job is available in the United States and Finland.
What You will be doing:
- Partner with Sales, Channel Partners, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product and Legal teams to develop working relationships fundamental to successful change management
- Combine your knowledge, the knowledge of others, and data-derived insights to originate compelling business improvement opportunities, including strategic initiatives, price & packaging models, sales support capabilities, and data analysis and productization
- Lead and manage implementation of outcome-oriented improvements to the way we do business, and then track and communicate how well they worked vs outcome expectations
- Be an expert in our product, pricing, GTM, market, competitors, industry players, and key trends
- Manage pricing-led projects and participate in projects led by other team
- Prioritize and plan across multiple time horizons
- Communicate and collaborate effective
- Travel up to 10%

Work Experience:
- Progressive experience in pricing or a related commercial area including team leadership, thought leadership, and project leadership with demonstrable results
- Experience working on SaaS pricing strategy projects including strategic projects e.g. bundling and price model transformation, pricing & packaging for new products, optimization of existing products
Tools:
- Data analysis proficiency in Excel and PowerBI and storytelling with PowerPoint are required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
