The Role
The Payroll Manager will be part of the Finance & Accounting Team and will work closely with our Human Resource Department. They will be responsible for all aspects of the payroll function, including preparation, processing, compliance and reporting. This position reports to the Controller. 

What You’ll Do

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll 
• Manage Canadian payroll firm
• Governmental reporting and compliance
• Month-end journals & reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain audit schedules

What You’ll Need

• Working knowledge of multi-state labor laws
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing
• Knowledge of accounting principals
• General knowledge of accounting and/or HRIS systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 5-7 years of direct, relevant experience in payroll operations for a multi-payroll organization
• Working knowledge of ADP or another payroll platform
• Previous system upgrade or conversion implementation experience is preferred

Working at Lark 

Lark offers the option to work remotely in the United States.  For Colorado Applicants only: minimum annual salary is $74,000 (minimum salary varies for other geographies). You may also be offered a bonus, stock options and/or benefits.  The company is headquartered in Mountain View, CA.
