Overview

Starting pay for this position is $28.81/hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ministry-Wide Accountant is responsible for accounting for the entire Ministry, including performing consolidations. The Accountant will perform tax accounting and tax filings in addition to training and onboarding and ensuring compliance with controls.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or closely related field
• Experience: 2 years of experience of progressively more responsibility in the healthcare industry or similar industry function

Other skills/knowledge:

• Demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting (including GAAP), internal controls, reimbursement, and taxes in an integrated healthcare environment
• Possesses strong problem solving, project management, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensure/Certifications: CPA or CMA. Public accounting experience
