Corteva Agriscience is looking for a Finance Manger to join our Seed Production & Supply Chain Finance team here at Corteva. The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the North America Seed Portfolio in oversight of Cost of Goods Sold and Other Cost of Revenue and Regional communication of COGS.
Responsibilities - How will you help us grow?

  • Monthly oversight and analysis of COGS and Other Cost of Revenue for North America Region.
  • Works with SPSC North America Director, Supply Chain Leader, Logistics Leader, and Procurement Leader to understand key drivers of COGS and impact on monthly outlook.
  • Works closely with North America controllership product analysts regarding COGS changes and manufacturing variances.
  • Acts as finance lead in monthly NA supply review in preparation for IBP.
  • Analysis of monthly actuals and ensures monthly outlook reflects accurate expectations for NA SPSC.
  • Supports Asset Footprint, Make vs Buy and Other Manufacturing related Economic Analysis for Portfolio/Region working closely with Global Finance Leader.
  • Collaborates with TO Finance, Workstream Leaders for Seed Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure E2W Initiatives are reflected in the company financials.
  • Acts as finance lead for any North America SPSC M&A activity and capital requests.


Key Interactions

  • Works closely with NA SPSC Teams (Supply Chain Leader, Manufacturing Director, Logistics Team, and Procurement Leader).
  • Works in concert with North America Commercial Finance to understand demand changes.
  • Works closely with North America controllership team to understand actuals.
  • Visits to plant sites throughout North America to coordinate closely with plant operations teams.


Qualifications
Background and Experience - What you'll bring to the table

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 5-7 years prior finance experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of practices in accounting and finance with primary emphasis in Cost of Revenue and Manufacturing (Cost Accounting background preferred).
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Ag Industry preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred, strong Excel skills required.
