Manager Finance
Overview
Manager will be responsible for the accounting, analysis, and budgeting of the Parent entity, Novant Health, as well as the subsidiaries, Choice Health, Salem Health Solutions, NewStar Risk Retention Group, Forsyth Medical Center Foundation, Thomasville Medical Center Foundation, Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, and Corporate Real Estate, including Partnership accounting for partnerships in which Novant has a controlling interest, and the corporate allocation process. In addition the Manager will assure that resources are efficiently and effectively employed and that the highest ethical standards and business practices are observed. Qualifications
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Accounting, required. Graduate Degree, Accounting, Business, or Finance, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting services, required. Supervisor experience and proven ability to direct and develop others, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Certified Public Accountant, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Must possess excellent communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of staff, management, and senior officers of the company, as well as with various external customers of the company such as independent auditors, third party administrators, and attorneys. Ability to teach, explain, and present technical information in a variety for methods, formats, styles is critical. Must have superior interpersonal skills and exhibit patience and a positive attitude. Must have very good organizational skills and the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects. Must have highly advanced analytical skills. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
