West Monroe is looking for a Specialist to join our Information & Collaboration Technology (ICT) Team as a financial analyst in the ICT Office of the CIO, you will wear many hats on financial invoice processing, administration, assist in projects, and be responsible for a variety of tasks including requirements gathering, automation, continuous improvement, and testing. You will collaborate across Finance and ICT. This is an exciting role that will present the challenge of helping us with financial processes and technologies that will deliver greatest value to ICT.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process ICT invoices for appropriate approvals and process with the AP team for payment.
- Invoice review and communication with ICT, Finance, and AP teams.
- Allocate invoices to the suitable cost centers.
- Communicate with vendors and follow-up on outstanding or priority items.
- Manage DocuSign workflows for approvals.
- Assist in requirements for ICT in the implementation of rules in Chrome River.
- Manage SaaS sales tax, in Chrome River.
- Manage JIRA issues and reports.
- Assist in gathering details for the annual budget for ICT and input in the financial software applications
- Assist with gathering data for the monthly ICT scorecard.
- Manage hardware asset management in ServiceNow.
- Assist in cost optimization initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of financial software capabilities and limitations – Kimble, SAP Concur, etc. – while clearly communicating those to internal partners
Qualifications:
- Educated to an Associate level or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels
- Previous experience in a financial role
- Strong IT skills: proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail, well organized and able to prioritize
- Proficiency in spoken/written English
- Appropriate use of initiative and proactive problem solving
- Comfortable working independently but able to collaborate in a team
- Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with Finance & Accounting, ICT, and other internal business units
- Strong written and oral communication – must be able to work well and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical resources
- Confident in multi-tasking – demonstrates a strong desire to take on new tasks and learn new processes
