Investment Accountant II
The Investment Accountant II, Fund Administration will be part of the Fund Investment Oversight team, which is responsible for the operational oversight and administration of 1940 Act Investment Products, including variable annuities and two-tier separate accounts. The team performs oversight of third-party service providers that perform fund accounting and custody services to various investment products. Additionally, this role often collaborates with the product team to support tactical and strategic initiatives for the products supported by Fund Administration.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for fund oversight responsibilities for 1940 Act Investment Products to ensure the accuracy of daily NAVs and downstream financial reporting.
- Under general supervision, completes daily, monthly and quarterly tasks on a timely basis.
- Prepares journal entries and confirms accurate posting to the ledger.
- Prepares timely and accurate SOC-1 review work papers for senior review.
- Provide support to ancillary teams in Fund Administration, providing support for financial reporting, taxation and audits as necessary.
- Manage priorities in response to emerging and competing initiatives.
- Seeks guidance from Senior Investment Accountants regarding issues that require more advanced knowledge and experience

- MS Word, Excel Heavy, PowerPoint Slides and Decks, Outlook, Alteryx
Potential Salary: $35.58 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
