Responsibilities

In this role you will learn the various team rotations including reconciliation, transactions, daily journal and pricing of funds. The work includes research, analytics and communication with both internal and external partners for the mutual funds. In addition, performing day-to-day fund accounting activities for a group of assigned funds including calculating and reporting the daily net asset value, verifying trades and transactions, balancing cash and position holdings, reviewing and closing exceptions, and resolving discrepancies. In addition, you will compile information for monthly and quarterly reporting and semi-annual and annual audits. As a Fund Accountant I, you're responsible for ensuring all activities performed are completed in compliance with established regulatory and internal control procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent required; strong preference towards a bachelor's degree in accounting with exposure to finance or other analytical course work
  • Previous internship working in related field preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, time management, interpersonal and communication skills is required
  • Detail oriented, able to maintain a high degree of accuracy, meet established deadlines, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Self-starter, and have good customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external contacts
  • Experience with Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn systems and applications used within the firm



Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$46600 - $63700 / year

Work Environment

This role offers the ability for in-office and hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek). You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
