About the Team
As a Finance & Strategy Business Partner, you’ll play a unique role at the intersection of finance and operations. While you’ll be part of the broader finance team, you will work intimately with key Operations stakeholders to develop strategy, accurately forecast the business, and drive ROI.
Role Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with key cross-functional business partners within the Operations teams
- Work closely with leadership to understand operational levers that impact the financial performance of the business
- Partner with the business to support strategy and decision-making
- Own and manage detailed financial models including the capacity models that drive headcount forecasts, understand and manage the revenue and cost structure on the P&L, and lead ad hoc financial modeling and analysis
- Ensure that forecasts incorporate trends and current/future business strategies
- Build and maintain consolidated financial models to plan the business and allow for appropriate sensitivities
- Partner with leadership to establish key performance metrics, lead efforts to monitor performance vs. goals, and provide insights for improvement
- Own monthly and quarterly Budget vs. Actual reporting and ensuring a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy in reporting as well as providing key business insights and perspectives
- Quantify risks and opportunities in achieving forecasts and explaining variances to forecasts. Create ad hoc analysis/sensitivities to understand potential outcomes
- Monitor P&L lines during monthly financial close, discuss variances to forecast, and conduct research as needed
Skills Needed
- 4-6 years of finance experience, preferably in investment banking and/or FP&A
- Fluent in Microsoft Office suite / Google suite
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Low ego, stellar work ethic, detail oriented, and highly self-motivated
Bonus points if
- Experience with Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or other financial planning software
- SQL experience
For CO Residents Only, and in accordance with C.R.S. Sec. 8-5-101 et seq., the estimated base salary range for this role is $67,000 - $132,000 per year. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
