About the team
The Global Accounts Payable Team is a fun, challenging, and fast-paced team to be on. This is a large team made up of very talented individuals located in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. The team prides itself in working cohesively towards a common goal and creating a positive working atmosphere while supporting each other to enhance team performance.
What you will be doing
On a daily basis, you will be performing vendor maintenance activities for all FIS legal entities, requesting welcome packets for new vendors and validating all vendors' sites/bank changes. In addition, this position is responsible for completing the following:

• Assign work to team for incoming inquiries
• Perform training for new activities or process changes
• Conduct team or 1:1 meeting
• Identify and document process issue and escalate promptly to management
• Perform a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with Global Accounts Payable standards
• Create and/or approve all requests for vendor merges
• Research/resolve invoices on hold that are assigned to the Vendor Maintenance team
• Assist in month-end and quarterly closing and reporting procedures (MSME, 1099, B Notices)
• Contact other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems
• Other related duties assigned as needed

What you bring:

• Four years' experience in Accounts Payable/Vendor Maintenance and Accounting degree preferred
• Oracle Cloud experience preferred

• Verbal and written communication skills must be clear, tactful and constructive
• Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and applications
• Must be self-motivated and well-organized
